Daryl & Katie // Montrose Harbor Engagement Session

Wednesday, July 25th, 2012

I’m really excited to share this session with Daryl & Katie. They are so adorable and I had such a great time getting to know them a little better. It ended up being the perfect night in the midst of this crazy summer heat at Montrose Harbor.

I’m looking forward to their wedding this fall at Revolution Brewing!

Bahareh, Justin & Cecily // New Family

Just had to share a few images from this session. Aren’t they such an adorable family? I really love capturing families in their home. I feel like it really brings out their personality. You can definitely see Justin and Bahareh’s awesome sense of style  and their abundant love for each other and their beautiful baby girl shine in these photos.

Stacey & David // Promontory Point Wedding

Monday, July 16th, 2012

I’m really excited to share the first wedding of the 2012 summer season! I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed working with Stacey & David! In fact, due to a scheduling conflict, we ended up sharing drinks at our initial meeting at The Grafton (a favorite local pub for all three of us). Working with neighbors is the best!

Stacey & David had a  gorgeous ceremony at Promontory Point. I love this location! These two met through their common passion for and work involving cycling (as you can see from some of their details), but they also both share a love for sailing. The magnificent vessel that slowly drifted it’s way into the backdrop of their ceremony could not have been more perfectly orchestrated. The whole day, actually, seemed to fit this beautiful couple perfectly! From the Love/Velo cookies to the pinwheels for their many adorable nieces and nephews to the very cool floral designs by A New Leaf.

Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your day, Stacey & David!

Check out the invite that David created. It is so cool!

I love this shot! Stacey surprised David by sneaking into his ancestry.com account and to have one of the coolest family tree designs I’ve ever seen created for him.

David actually made the cookie cutter for these sweet treats. “Velo” is “bike” in french and it is a commonly used term in the cycling world.
