Wednesday, July 25th, 2012I’m really excited to share this session with Daryl & Katie. They are so adorable and I had such a great time getting to know them a little better. It ended up being the perfect night in the midst of this crazy summer heat at Montrose Harbor.

Christina & John // Lincoln Park Lily Pond Engagement Session
Tuesday, May 15th, 2012I’ve been intending to post this session from last fall for a bit now. It was a particularly fun one for me as I used to work with both Christina & John. It was great not only to catch up, but to get to see and capture a match that I got to witness from the beginning. We hit some really awesome light over in Lincoln Park before heading downtown for a bit. Christina and John are getting married at a vineyard in California so they thought it would be fitting to get a few wine photos in there as well.
Ashley & Rhett // Chicago Engagement Session
Friday, May 4th, 2012I had a great day shooting with these two! Ashley and Rhett live in California, so this session was the first time we had met in person. It didn’t take more than a few minutes to realize I was going to have a blast with them. And that we did! These two had some pretty hilarious stories. They had me cracking up the whole time. Rhett has done some modeling, as I’m sure you can tell, but I’d have thought Ashley was a model too! I’m so excited for their wedding this summer at The Peninsula Hotel!
Shannon & Aaron // Lincoln Park Engagement Session
Wednesday, January 18th, 2012I just love these images from Shannon & Aaron’s engagement session! I used to work with Shannon, so it was really fun for me to get the opportunity to reconnect with her and to get to know Aaron too. They are both really sweet individuals, but you can tell they shine even brighter as a couple. I love when I get to photograph couples like this one! We started out at good old Starbucks for a little hot chocolate before we ventured out in and around Lincoln Park. Shannon & Aaron have a pretty great engagement story including a scavenger hunt leading Shannon to all of the places they went on one of their most memorable dates. Among these stops was at a Starbucks, so we took a few minutes to get a couple of shots of them inside. It ended up being a surprisingly nice day outside as well so we took full advantage of all the great little nooks and crannies in Lincoln Park.
I am so thrilled to be a part of Shannon & Aaron’s wedding this fall at The Byron Colby Barn! I can’t wait!
